The Best Non-dairy Milk Alternatives

The Best Non-dairy Milk Alternatives

I am about 99.99% certain that the first non-dairy milk alternative that came to your mind was almond with coconut as the runner up. Those are amazing options and I definitely still consume those but let me introduce you to a whole new non-dairy world. I’m talkin’ oat, macadamia, cashew, hemp, walnut, and even pea. All Fit Bar cafes are dairy free and offer a variety of 4-5 different kinds of plant-based milks for coffee drinks, bowls, and smoothies. We strive for organic and limited ingredients as often as possible to align with our mission of fueling our bodies with high quality nutrients. I encourage you to become a label reader while browsing the grocery store to catch all those unnecessary added sugars, gums, and natural flavors. If you want to take it to the next level, try making milks at home like oat or cashew which reduces waste and gives you the ability to control what is going into them.

*Pro tip; if you strain your nut milks, take the pulp that you strained from the almonds, oats, cashews or whatever you used add it into your smoothies, baked goods, or any dishes to help reduce food waste!

Fit Bar offers unsweetened almond milk, unsweetened coconut milk, and lightly sweetened oat and hemp milk, and when available, unsweetened macadamia milk. (Store products may vary so call ahead for any questions or concerns!) Stop by to try one of our specialty drinks with creamy nut milk, a smoothie for some protein, or an acaí bowl to crush those sweet cravings. Feel free to ask our crew any questions you have about our non-dairy options or any other products we carry!
