Listen, I know I just talked about Fall arriving like two blog posts ago but I’m SO excited I have to bring it up again, at least for a minute. One of my favorite items we have on the menu is made in house year round but reminds me so much Fall you guys will be all over it next time you stop by a cafe. If you’re a regular, you might already know what it is but if you’re new here prepare to be blown away. House-Made Paleo Granola that is gluten free, vegan, soy free, sugar free and DELICIOUS. This recipe is made with all nuts and seeds, monk fruit maple syrup, and a dash of cinnamon for a perfect sweet and salty combo to add to any acai bowl, or even top a smoothie. Because it is jam packed with healthy nuts and seeds, you don’t need a crazy big serving of it to feel full, one serving provides you with all the Omega-3’s your body needs and craves. My favorite thing about this granola is how many benefits it carries including heart and brain health but without any sugar to avoid a mid day sugar crash PLUS you don’t have to worry about how it is affecting your hormones.
You can add this Paleo granola as a topping to your bowl in addition to granola or in place of our other granolas. Although I can’t reveal the exact recipe because what fun would that be, the ingredients are so simple, made with nuts and seeds so it’s extremely easy to whip up at home and make your own alterations. All you need are some nuts like cashews, almonds, walnuts, or any nuts you like, some sort of seeds for example chia, flax, or even hemp hearts, and liquid sweetener then you’re good to go! Don’t forget some spices like cinnamon or nutmeg and salt! Mix and bake and you’re set with a delicious and guilt free snack for the week. Not to mention your house will smell like actual heaven while it’s in the oven.
